ProfileTech >> Varialbe Disp. Vane Pump Profile

The variable displacement vane pump adjusts the eccentricity between the rotor and the floating stator (slider) through pressure feedback, thereby altering the theoretical displacement and output flow. The structure of the variable displacement vane pump is compact, and it exhibits a responsive control. Due to the significant sliding rate of the vanes against the stator, careful consideration of related parameters in the design is necessary to avoid issues such as excessive wear and mechanical vibration.

The variable displacement vane pump has a relatively larger number of moving parts (including rotor, stator, vanes, springs, vane rings, etc.). The geometric parameters and relative motion relationships of these parts are complex, often requiring multiple iterations to achieve a satisfactory design, making the process intricate and time-consuming.

APT's design software integrates multiple proprietary technologies, automatically completing the parametric geometric design of the variable mechanism and key components based on initial technical requirements. The design process is fully visualized and parameterized. The software enables dynamic simulation and real-time analysis of clearances, performance, leakage, and other parameters under different pressures and in various states and positions of components, providing significant convenience in the design process.

The software supports various types of slider adjustment methods, such as translational adjustment and rotational adjustment. According to pressure control methods, it provide singel stage variable, double stage variable and continuous variable. Please refer to the images above for various types, which have already been maturely applied in the automotive field. APT can also customize product features and software functions according to specific customer requirements.
